john, in particular, was possibly the best receptionist / concierge / barman we have ever come across - and we have stayed at a lot of hotels

the hotel contains a comfortable bar with indoor and outdoor seating

the staff assisted us in doing our laundry which was great as we had been touring on a motorcyle for over a week in very hot weather

the location is fantastic, but there was a group outside the hotel at the bar until around 4am - and they were not quiet

don't enjoy publishing an overall poor review because all the staff i met, which included bar & cooking staff, the manager / proprietor, and a cleaner, were very pleasant and friendly

buffet had something for everyone ideal location for my trip, and the loire valley if of interest wifi worked well plenty of plug points to charge
