we loved the bar and watching the euphonia nesting near the breakfast balcony!!

pool is very small and cold / freeze the spa is good very expensive and the jacuzzi is not

you need to book a room with kids as an adults

it has a covered pool, tennis courts, a soccer court, gym, spa, guided tours and a zip lining course

perfect location great view and amenities are awesome spa fully recommended

location and facilities are good. there's a small gym and nice trails to explore.

wifi didn't work in our room, and there was no jacuzzi/hot tub

the breakfast was very nice but let down by very slack service, ( the only bit that let the belmar down

liked the breakfast and dinner, certainly one of the top 3 places to eat in the surroundings

large rooms with wonderful oriented terrace, a pound, a juice bar, a spa

room had a spa bath which was lovely, the view from the hotel restaurant is beautiful

a well-stocked mini bar gave us some snacks to fuel our afternoon hike through the aguti reserve (ticket complementary (+)servers in the bar and restaurant were extremely friendly (-) the bar menu is lovely and the staff incredibly nice, but the bar is not a very nice place to sit (*) food is good, people is nice with mini bar free service

many of the rooms are on top of a hill with no parking near them, so it is quite a hike to and from your room

i had some stomach issues while i was there, and the staff helped me with tea and room service

on hillside with private 1,5mls trail through the rain forest, including a hanging bridge pool area and bar covered patio with view of volcano

it would also be nice to have a small meditation room at the spa and maybe some some yoga classes would be nice

the jungle setting with outdoor shower and bathtub with jungle view. pool was a plus.

the children loved the swimming pool and we all enjoyed the warm swim up bar in the evenings

there is a small swimming pool on site and activities available such as zip lining

couldn t enjoy some relaxation time at the pool as a very large group of school children were running around screaming and playing

the swimming pool is on the edge of a beautiful garden, you can swim while watching the sunset on nicoya
