clean, nice tv and wet bar area

restaurant and bar open for outside seating that was well managed given covid

bar and restaurant are closed on certain days but there is no other options if you come from the

rooms were very clean and spacious and there was an onsite bar and restaurant

the only disappointment was that the restaurant and bar were closed for the majority of our stay

i called first and was told that the kitchen was

pet fee was a reasonable $10/dog/night

i loved the play structure and the jacuzzi tub with a full kitchen and separate master bedroom.

the layout of the room was awesome with the livingroom/sitting room and kitchen being so open

was clean and the grounds were lovely with a nice view of the river and small play area for kids

the location of the property was great and there was ample parking.

hallway when we went to our room after dinner was littered with room service trays which we understood

ambiance, room, view, bed ,shower, lobby, restaurant, parking all above expectations

wish some of the things in the hotel weren't closed like room service or the spa on mondays and or tuesday but i'm sure i'll get over it

it felt like we were at home, but only better with a large kitchen, two bathrooms, two gas fireplaces and a view fit for a king (and queen)

room but no pool or gym, no deck or courtyard place to sit outside, noisy outside, to walk anywhere you had to cross

we have a vacation rental so we were impressed with the stocking of the kitchen for guests

room was tiny, cramped and above the laundry

we enjoyed our balcony and fireplace and the kitchen and laundry facilities made our stay comfortable

she stood and watched our kids play and acted irritated every time they touched a toy or moved

there was a dj downstairs and dancing, and then in the lobby there was a jazz trio and a bar with wine, champagne and beer

not alot for kids to do there, but for sure adults had plenty of stuff to do

also could hear muffled club music while laying in bed until bar closing time

hood river hotel is a great place to stay when taking the kids up mt hood to sled or wine tasting in hood river with a friend

the spa was great and everything was clean

soaking pool and sauna were really excellent and so was the food

we enjoyed the soaking pool, the bar, restaurant, and felt comfortable hanging out and playing games while having

we really enjoyed the soaking pool in the spa and the couches around the fireplace in the lobby

great location! spa and sauna were amazing!

my kids loved the indoor pool area during the cold winter months

the surrounding area was great with the marina right there, lots to see and a kids playground nearby as well

we really enjoyed the hot tub and pool, especially after an evening of skiing, and then before we left in the morning

breakfast wasn’t great

view from the breakfast room was fantastic

the pool and spa facility are excellent

wifi connection in the rooms is very poor

had been recommended highly by a friend with kids and it was a great location and offered more class than the standard hotel

large parking lot

my wife and my kids love it very much.

the staff was very friendly, allowing me to use laundry facilities for free

really liked the suite with the private spa on exterior balcony

we will visit the spa next time and become regulars

ice makers were abundant (3), some large stains marred our carpet, kids not allowed to use the pool (that wasn’t made clear before we arrived)

a few more other amenities, such as a basic kitchenette, some outdoor cooking facilities and a fireplace wouldn’t be nice

the hot pool and location to the columbia river gorge.
