it has an old charm. good food options and nice breakfast.

breakfast was lovely - in fact, all the food was great - we ended up eating there four nights out

dogs and kids everywhere (within reason), pianos and cello practise a spontaneous surprise

short walk, we sat outside in the evening after a enjoying a delicious meal, had a drink from the bar and then sat to watch the sunset which ended a perfect day

breakfast was outstanding

very helpful, there was a young man , didn't get his name, he served behind the bar and told us about lord nelson staying at the hotel and about the painting in the function room,

hotel facility with plenty of parking staff was spot on from the moment we arraived at reception to breakfast in the

bap- yogurt- orange juice - bottle of water very repetitive- changed you own towels etc - no room service- felt if we were leper s quite frankly- thinks hopefully hospitalit will greatly

difficulties connecting to wifi and frequent loss of signal once connected

the bar was well decorated for christmas

the bar staff were so welcoming and the hosts jeff & carol are brilliant

the top 5 things i look for 1) it felt safe 2) it felt clean 3) i could park my car 4) it had a bar to unwind in and a restaurant 5) room had everything you would expect, a tv,

the live music from the bar wasn't great but maybe the people in the bar enjoyed it!

a little soft for me but that's personal preference, the room also suffered with noise from the bar / restaurant directly beneath until around 11pm which i wouldn't have minded but really needed

of flowers in the reception and bar areas - i struggled with allergies

the service in the restaurant and bar were second to none, nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely amazing

being picky the pool was a little bit chilly for my liking but once your in it s ok and the kids swimming hours was a little awkward as you are sharing a pool with the other guests in these

mini bar in the room would be useful as would the option of room service but all in all fantastic stay
