the restaurant bar was closed down i was told by staff it would not open up in the near future very disappointed

minor points here like that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, no sharp knife in the kitchen and that i could hear my noisy neighbours at times

a very relaxing & most enjoyable gym and swim area with a sauna, steam room, a cold water plunge pool and jacuzzi, that's honestly the best area i've to, the breakfast in the morning is great too

family rooms are slightly disappointing, the 2 kids had to share a sofa bed but would have much preferred twin beds for them

the water from the pool was cold, but understandable as is near to the mountains

i think it’s ideal for couples wanting a romantic get away to make use of the hotels pool, private gardens and idyllic surroundings

you also had to have your own towels for the pool

one of our 3 nights there was just a little noise from the bar below our window when it was open

of the castle,/old town, causeway etc and only a short walk into town where there are plenty of bars, restaurants etc

the staff were super helpful. it was really great to have a laundry facility in the basement.
