the hotel was clean and tidy and parking on site safe and covered.
the dinner was very good and reasonably priced (49 for 2 persons, two-course dinner) wifi -
after our day out touring the local area, it was nice to come back to the hotel bar to have a few drinks before retiring for the night
the pool is not open early.

the electric pump system of the pool had burnt out and was taking a few days to replace so no swimming possible
the pool area was not available and would have been nice. the only slight minus.

was very cold in lounge and kitchen area, small electric heater provided was inadequate
we would have liked a bread knife in the kitchen and perhaps a salad drier.
there was a communal kitchen which contained a microwave, cooker(no stove), and a washing machine
