there was a communal kitchen which contained a microwave, cooker(no stove), and a washing machine

was very cold in lounge and kitchen area, small electric heater provided was inadequate

we would have liked a bread knife in the kitchen and perhaps a salad drier.

bar and restaurant attached which were good value for money

with a little english was exceptionally kind in procuring a bucket of ice and glasses when the bar was closed and the other, joana, on duty in the morning spoke terrific english, was charming

except the room we had was facing the street which has a bar across the way making it noisy at night

i asked in the bar and the two staff had a major row ( in spanish ) about what size water and i was eventually

one thing i loved is that the mini bar wasn't used as a money making machine but offered as a service with very decent prices like

they have a nice little gym which was a plus

with a balcony overlooking a typical spanish plaza with 3 typical local

slow internet, few tv choices, gym was minimal, no pool or hot tub, expensive for what i got

again, free wifi was available in all rooms but was only adequate for email etc

bar had no brandy for a nightcap, i was quite pleased

if you looking for great food, try asadaor la tahona in calle felipe uribarr, literally a stone's throw from the hotel

is a lovely, charming hotel--from the lobby to the bar to the breakfast room to the rooms

we asked if we could have some ice from the bar the night before to take to bed and it wasn’t a problem

unfortunately it was raining while we were there so we couldn t sit in the rooftop bar (by all accounts a standout), but we ll certainly be back (+) the rooftop bar is a spectacular place to watch the sunset but it doesn't open from monday to (-) however, we were able to eat very well in the bar so no great (-) we also found the bar area not in keeping with this type of hotel, which should strive for (+)central areas of the hotel are very nice and bright, and the rooftop bar is lovely in the evening

really loved the outside swimming pool with sea water (not chlorinated water) and the are for the kids

from the balcony, we ate room service pizza - which i must say was one of the finest pizzas we have had anywhere, serenaded

of season so the hotel was quiet, we were happy with this, but may have lacked atmosphere in main bar areas
