real ale in the bar obviously does not sell very well as the pint i had was vinegar.

the rooms are nicely updated and comfortable while the restaurant and bar remain authentic and historic

vegetarian or vegan friends then i might suggest they call ahead to check options for dining and breakfast

a small disappointment was the wifi was a little temperamental at times but not previously so it was perhaps a glitch on this
