bea left toys for the kids to play with and had all the heaters turned on before we arrived

beatrice met us on the street with a very warm welcome, and brought a lovely breakfast to the kitchen in the morning

no one to serve us with a drink at the bar - just a minor point, so we went elsewhere.

the quad room was amply sized for our family of 4 (two adults, two kids, each of which got their own bed)
