the bar downstairs had a happy atmosphere even though it was so full, the breakfast in the morning was

you actually check in at the bar of the hotel as this doubles as the reception

the staff were all friendly and as helpful as possible, and the bar and restaurant were fine places to be

checkin was just a little slow as the chap was busy with bar and food.

(+) on arrival reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were bar and restaurant staff (+) excellent pet policy, we were able to eat breakfast and dinner with our dog in the bar area which was separate from the main dining areas and in our experience this makes this hotel (+) location, the grounds, building, the staff, the bar and restaurant were all exceptional (-) bar meals available on set tables (-)no bar for a drink at night
