breakfast was excellent and evening meal in the bar the previous evening was also very good - lovely atmosphere in the restaurant area and staff

would have stayed in my room all night but the real fire in the bar drew me downstairs to enjoy a nice glass of merlot

slight gripe was the bar closed at 10pm so couldnt have a drink when returning to the hotel after a meal

to the city centre but whilst we were there we drove 1 minute down to the road to the rawcliffe bar and ride and it cost 7:80 for 2 adults return to york city centre so easy
