i loved the architectural setting, the gardens, the open fire and the delicious breakfast

although we were there in the winter, i can imagine that it would be very nice to relax by the pool on a hot, summer day

the beds were particularly comfortable, breakfast was ample and the location very central in macedo

had a very enjoyable stay, an excellent host, very good breakfast, parking, swimming pool, all in a quiet garden in the middle of the city center

the bed was fantastic, shower nice & hot, breakfast was very nice

lovely bar area to enjoy a cold beer in the evening

poor selection of restaurants and a bar we visited did not have any vinho tinto

clean facility and they had the most wonderful breakfast which was included

excellent staff and delicious breakfast

we didn't want to eat the full tasting menu in the restaurant, but the chef made us up some bar snacks instead and then chatted with us for ages, which made us feel very welcome

there's an elevator (although there are a few steps before it, when you enter), a small bar at reception desk, an optional breakfast, soap & shampoo in the bathroom (-) it is located in a narrow alleyway with a bar immediately opposite - our room was directly above so the view out wasn't great and even tho' (-) the noise from the bar next door kept us up but that's not the hotel's fault

selectec this property in braganca as we were walking the portugese camino for location, aircon, wifi and value, and scored very highly - the reception team was exceptionally caring and helpful

i said it's in the centre so no outside bar area, also no reserved parking but as my mate and i were on motorbikes this wasn't an issue for

00 for bar to open as this is not run by the people who own the hotel, so couldn t get a coffee, or beer

we were traveling with two kids and had to split into 2 rooms
