excellent breakfast, wonderful dinner and very inviting bar area with great decor and friendly vibe

on the second morning i went down a bit early (7:30 am) and asked for coffee while sitting in the bar

there is no front desk, it’s very confusing as you walk into a bar, despite a front door and foyer with what could be a front desk

the hotel having their own restaurant and bar was very convenient. the location was convenient.

and would give a quaint b&b feel if there was more foot traffic inside the building utilizing the bar area/ tables - and had the fire place lit, etc

i was gonna buy everybody dinner at the hotel when i got there the restaurant was closed and the bar was closed

service at the bar was a bit slow during dinner, as a lot of people come from outside the hotel just for dinner

the menu and even stayed for the brunch on sunday, where the croque madame was delightful - the bar has an incredible vibe, chalet-like - nice trails around the property to go for runs - great

venue is so charming and makes you feel cozy where ever you are, whether in the bedroom, at the bar or having dinner

the continental breakfast was such a nice perk - simple, but fresh, healthy, and unique - definitely a step up from

breakfast, though promoted as continental, was surprisingly sparse of offerings

air conditioning in bar is abysmal and grossly undersized, as is breakfast dining room

the toiletries were bad: a shared pump hand soap, a sliver of bar soap

grab bar at low toilet would have helped

location is very good, just 30 mins to the berkshire mountain resort * there is a bar walking distance from the hotel * parking right in front of your suit * there is a small fridge
