their bar boasts over 100 different highland park whiskies (yes, you read that right), all distilled just (+) the bar and restaurant areas are very nicely styled creating a welcoming feel (+)fab great bar options very night noisy outside window due to street revelers best location in (-)only small gripe was the lad behind the bar was on his phone all the time i was sat there and later on too, he wasn t engaged with the (+) dogs are not allowed in the dining area but allowed in the bar ( staff accommodated us in the bar area for our meals) no complaints (+) we loved the more spacious room 102 (although being just over a bar is not the best location for a friday night - unless you are in the bar at that time as well :) (+) food was lovely staff were very friendly and helpful bar has several tv's for watching the (+) plus, a superb bar and lounge, stocking 100+ varieties of highland park whiskey

excellent wifi speeds - i needed to be online for work and had no problems connecting and attending video

on orkney so it's no surprise that you need to walk through the hotel to the bar to find someone - but when you find the young lady she is extremely helpful and nice

we particularly loved spending the evenings in the bar tasting some of the literal thousands of bottles of whiskey decorating the walls
