staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had a small bar there although no food facilities in the evening (which we were aware of)

the hotel had a nice bar and lounge area

there was an attractive swimming pool although we didn't get round to using it

great spa, good gym and nice bar.

spa was a bonus but pool a bit hard to access for older people and perhaps a few more sun loungers

large, calm lounge and bar area by reception

kettle in room would add finishing touch , but not a major problem as the bar provides tea /

ground floor lobby and bar area was welcoming and nicely designed

one lady to man reception, bar and kitchen.

wifi reception was not possible with apple appliances. staff told us this had happened before

only wanted something light for supper and we had noticed a couple having a plate of food at the bar and asked if we could do the same

parts of the bar and private dining area contained amazing artefacts and furniture and gave a real sense of

the bar and dining room were comfortable and cosy with lots of charm and character
