the standout highlight though was returning from the 0515 start for the quetzal tour for breakfast at the restaurant, only to see another pair of quetzals in the trees above the river -

the food was excellent- the trout was delicious, and breakfast was extensive with fresh-squeezed juices, homemade breads, and a choice of entrees

(-)when it grows up it wants to be a gymnasium (-)gym facility needs maintenance, the running mill is not working and there is no other way to do (+) the hotel has a decent gym for working out (-)gym was closed and there were not other amenities offered to guests besides the free breakfast (-) the gym was very small and the entire hotel looked nicer on photos (-) the hotel is nice and comfortable, but it's hard to do things at night and it feels old (the gym, for (-)gym could bd better stuffed and with mote working machines (+)close to all restaurants and shops. good bar area with live music. gym is convenient.
