bar staff were friendly - common areas looked well kept

went to the bar and listened to music, chatted with another couple, great evening

the bar area had a patio with live music every afternoon

during less favourable or cold weather, the view, the green space, the proximity of the onsite bar and restaurant

and bar on location

it was easy to check-in, we had time for a drink at the bar before closing (9pm), and the staff were super friendly and helpful (+)really good place to stay, especially good bar and restaurant providing delicious food and great entertainment (+)music at bar wonderful (+)place, friendly staff, a nice bar to watch local live music performance, try a local beer (was really good), and good breakfast (-)night we were there there was music coming from the bar until at least 4 am (+)the chocolates and the bar was an awesome touch bonus points for mario kart (+)location was terrific; view beautiful. attached bar and restaurant both excellent. (-) the noise from the bar was also bad

kids loved the ping pong table and play room

tv and wifi were very limited

enough bandwidth for streaming tv ) unsecured wifi would have preferred a secure connection

easy assess for parking

the bar had a decent selection of drinks

kitchen needs just a few more basic items

opposed to the inn)

breakfast was really nice, especially the oatcakes

excellent breakfast and tasty dinners
