the downstairs bar was an extra added bonus with good wifi too

back by the bathroom, which wasn’t clearly marked and i had to ask for assistance from the bar man to locate

there was a bar and a restaurant for dinner, so we didn’t have to do anymore driving, just settle in

hotel staff (robert i think) was amazing he was on check in and bar as well as breakfast (-) you re not in town, so if you need street noise and easy access to bars (tho a bar is at reception] you may want to be with the european kids (+) there is a bar open in the evening (+)away, good location friendly staff free teas, coffees, hot chocolates etc in the bar great breakfast (+)& because it was the off-season (& as australians we didn't really think this part through) the bar wasn't open for operation, & i was really looking forward to having a beer whist gazing out at (+) too bad the bar and reception closes at 21 (+)is great very comfortable beds free drinks in the bar (teas, coffees) as well as within the room itself (three free soft drinks)

location is out of akureyri so very quiet and ample space for parking

- we had access to kitchen utensils and cutlery for dinner we brought with and we even had a bar at our disposal, we would just pay for any drinks we had on checkout

the evening bar and snacks were very convenient

decor and artwork at every turn, yet approachable enough that i wouldn't hesitate to bring small kids

he also prepared the spa and lit candles for us to enjoy the hot tub late in the evening

stayed there with my family and my kids loved it

we have to rent another room on the second floor for our kids
