the wifi could not be accessed, so i wont be going again

rooms nice and clean, bar was really nice lots of funny signs and games to play

i had a late pint in the bar which was very busy even approaching midnight

10 mins walk from the station although a car parking permit was available

pans to cook with,one pan and one small baking tray, there was a dirty towel left in one of the kitchen cupboards, there was no plug in the kitchen sink only small things but needed pointing

there was no oven glove or tea towel in the kitchen which was poor when there is an oven!

great bar and eating area and managed to eat breakfast in the garden which was a nice plus

beautiful building, lovely staff, very comfortable rooms and lovely bar with great food

the bar area had a great range of draught beer

we did late check out which was a god send

the restaurant and bar are very tastefully decorated as are the rooms

the shower and spa bath was amazing not to mention the hot tub

breakfast was excellent - particularly the requested mushroom omelette which replaced dinner the

large comfortable bed plenty of parking friendly welcoming staff

wifi was too slow, i had to work during my stay, not enough wifi for a teams call, should be

no flannel or bar soap in the bathroom.

accomodated an early check in for us which was super handy as we had to be at a family event earlier than the

accused of having stayed there with my kids on friday yet they slept in sheffield coz i had booked them a hotel there for use on friday

comfy beds fantastic staff clean roomy bar area clean and reasonably priced

very clean and cosy. particularly liked the real fires in the bar area.

i am totally aware of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, in the kitchens / waiters / bar staff / reception / the cleaners and management, hats off and i applaud you all

bedroom was fantastic and lovely breakfast

just a little bit slow in service at breakfast, lunch and dinner. didn’t really matter.
