little to dislike - only downsides were no stand up shower facility in bathroom and very poor wifi signal in

a beautiful garden with lots of space for kids to run around

spacious parking within the grounds which was a priority for us

lovely building and grounds, parking on site.

if i was being picky about the room we had i'd say the stairs up to the mezzanine area for the kids area a little steep/slippy so may not be ideal for very young kids or people with mobility

appreciated the free wifi but it often vanished after a period of nonuse and required frequent password entries

our kids enjoyed the basketball hoop and would have stayed at the hotel much longer if they could have

stayed in a family bedroom with strange layout the kids/twin up steep stairs accessed from the main bedroom, toilet downstairs but shower room & sink

we enjoyed their comfy rooms- the kids loved having their own loft

was a great find for 2 adults and 2 kids because the room was more spacious than any other hotels in the area

the rooms are comfortable (and there's easy access with a lift); everything is very clean; wifi is very (-)it's hard to find low points - the wifi occasionally dropped but was mainly excellent. (-)wifi is too slow. (+)location, value for money, facilities, good breakfast selection, excellent wifi, closeness of parking (if parking overnight only it may be cheaper to pay car park directly) (-)a minor niggle the wifi doesn't really reach the furthest rooms :-) (*)too hot to hold. no cup handles. no wifi first day. no bar of soap no wash clothes. (-)wifi in room non existant, safe box not working, expensive breakfast (-) the room was tiny and the wifi was almost non-existent

bar yet but we were told one was opening soon

they served a beautiful breakfast and helped us figure out an itinerary for visiting sights in the area

i wish breakfast had been included with the price of our stay as it was at some other places we stayed,

french breakfast with home baked bread, croissant and home made jams & cake

it's a bed and breakfast so it feels like you're a guest in their home
