but it made it difficult to splurge on other things (like spa treatments) when even the food was so expensive (+) love the spa , the duchess shop it s a great addition (+) we arranged a day at the spa and leah furbert was the best, nice and very generous (+)the spa was phenomenal (+) the exhale spa onsite was great - i only did poolside yoga and highly recommend (+)to access, food was exceptionally good,love the hours the duchess is open, enjoyed the new shops, spa was fabulous and the staff were too (+) we also enjoyed the spa and the hotel's amazing restaurants 1609 and intrepid (+) the spa treatments were excellent

restaurants were superb, the gym had everything i needed, and laying by the pool was incredible

at one time there were only 4 rooms occupied which meant that unless you booked the bar or restaurant in advance there was no guarantee it would be open

i sat at the bar one night on my own (no-one else in there) and in fact it sometimes felt like a ghost town

pool resturant area was a little to staff heavy could be a little more relaxed less staff in that

we were told the bar area would open on the saturday providing bar food and drinks, but this was cancelled

the saltwater pool and beach area were quiet, private and very relaxing

on checking out i had lunch at the restaurant by the pool i ordered the chicken wrap and sweet pot fries i very much enjoyed that
