the first night we couldn't get any cold water out of the sink tap so had to go to the bar and buy a bottle of cold water

we had a wonderful breakfast, and lunch at the pool house, which was exceptional

breakfast was not as high quality as the rest of the stay

breakfast was great too and visiting the vineyard was educational and very interesting

the young man working the bar was great fun and determined to provide the best bloody mary cocktail he could

to get served at the bar we had to attract someone’s attention, no coordination

location is good, the hotel has everything i could wish for from safe parking to restaurant with a warm welcoming staff and logs on the fire which is very romantic,

loved the traditional pub bar. the evening meal was delicious and lots of choice for breakfast.

the pool and spa facilities were great

were so friendly, especially at the pool and health club

breakfast and sunday lunch was superb, we booked the weekend as we had family staying nearby and

quiet in beautiful location, bar cosy, restaurant lovely, staff super friendly and room comfy and

lovely welcoming log burner in the bar which was lovely on a cold wet afternoon

we ate dinner in the evening in the bar and the menu choices were great

only let down we would of liked a possibility of a selection of cold meats and cheese for breakfast as in many continental breakfast menus

only very minor niggle was poor lighting in the kitchen area not helped by having a bulb out on the extractor hood

- we should have booked a longer stay secondly all the staff were exceptional from reception, bar staff, cleaners and waiters & waitresses

this beautiful manor has a variety of themed rooms and incorporates a five star restaurant and bar and three separate lounge areas where you can work, read or chat with friends

off the beaten track. not a lot around the hotel, only 1 pub. wasn't told about the free wifi.
