everything clean, fab bathroom, comfy bed, private garden/pool and very friendly staff

room was hit with a humid moldy smell, the staff reception could have been more friendly, and the wifi required a voucher and sign in process, rather than a security code, which

slippery bath made shower hazardous. wifi very poor.

spa is old, smells bad and is quite expensive

there is a lovely, airy bar in the hotel, as well as a fine restaurant

we twice ordered room service breakfasts but they didn't arrive until we called reception.

maintained infrastructure (well, i bet that night's power problems were a one-time issue), free wifi included (-)weak wifi, thanks to power issues that night. no complaint or gap otherwise. (-)hotel should leave the password for the wifi in the room (-)my room 206 was at the end of the corridor of the hotel and the wifi reception was very poor and kept going in and out (-)wifi went in and out, out mostly. shower never got hot. (+)staff were wonderful - they changed my room when the wifi wasn't strong enough to connect for my work and the view from the second room was astounding (-)wifi wasn't strong enough to connect to on the third floor, though i understand this may have been (-)of room, hotel and town information available in the room itself would have been good, and the wifi was so bad i gave up trying to use it and just relied on the decent mobile data signal (-)things were worn and need repair/updating: - one elevator was not operating properly; - poor wifi in our room; - awful pillows; - worn couch (-)no wifi in the room at all (-) first, i selected the hotel because it had wifi availability, which it did not
