friendly staff great pool for kids and spacious rooms

there were no reusable cutlery or plates despite unavailability of room service so we had to keep going to the front desk to get disposable items

the breakfast was subpar and other guests were a bit loud.

as far as amenities, the gym is fantastic - machines that target the whole body and plenty of cardio machines

we had booked for a family (2 adults + 2 kids) and the sofa bed wasnt done when we arrived

airport shuttle schedule started too late; would be better if there was an option for a 5am shuttle

shuttle to downtown should run every day, not just weekends. too far to walk.

ordered take-out breakfast from the hotel restaurant on our first morning

kids menu all french fries no healthy and real meal options like pizza macaroni etc

you could get water from the gym water dispenser

oh and the kids loved the games downstairs (jenga and fussball table)

breakfast food — half defrosted muffin was pretty gross

they did not have many facilities aside from the small gym

clerk then told us there was another room on our floor, also with a view, and so they put our kids there

haha, the gummy bears at the mini bar inside the room was $9.

we chose the hotel mainly because of its renovation and because of the pool, so that the kids could enjoy the pool and hot jacuzzi after a whole day out in dc in the cold

steam room shut and a lot of kids in the pool.....we passed on that
