beautiful inside courtyard area -- a quiet, private terrace, pool, outdoor eating

historical hotel with a mixologist bar that served upon request amazing drink with smoke and herbs

poor wifi connection

parking was a little tricky. two blocks from front door overnight.

need better bread and pastry selections at breakfast

very quite property. walking distance to everything. great pool.

pool was refreshing each day

there is also parking available

size, bed, and kitchen comforts good

lovely pool, just steps from our door, not more than 2 or 3 people using it per day

having a restaurant, bar on sight was a plus

there is a bar and fab daybeds and lounge chairs

our waiters and bar tender were great and fun

quiet property right near the beach, pool was amazing with the comfiest beds to layout and read

pool was truly exquisite

everything about our unit/stay at villas la mar -- accommodations were super spacious/clean, and kitchen had everything we could have wanted for several family meals we prepared during our stay

everything was truly remarkable - from the staff to the accommodations to the pool, beach and the restaurant (which is semiprivate and really only caters to guests),

the pool is great space, and the connected sister property has a great pool area too

the shared palapa and pool area adds a nice public space

lots of steep stairs to access the rooms and pool area

i like that it was focused on adults and the staff was not pushy

we saw whales from our pool chairs

nice pool and hot tub, attentive and friendly staff, and an overall cool vibe

bar far in a way the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at

- beds very comfortable, i was torn between wanting to stay in bed or lounge out by the pool

room is so so .. no gym, small pool, construction environment, inefficient staff

although because of covid few things are still in progress like umbrellas/shade by the pool but i’m sure by the time we’ll return they will be taking care of

the spa wasn’t open yet :-( it looked amazing...we’ll have to go back when it’s open.

more basic options please - especially from the pool lunch menu

spa prices are ridiculously high so i d recommend going outside of the resort for that
