great friendly staff fantastic breakfast

the breakfast tables were perfectly clean but the surface felt slightly sticky

they really care about there guests ,in both the restaurant ,hotel and bar

girl wàs anxious to close the bar early one night at around 10pm

it’s a good bar to meet friendly locals

great location, clean and comfy, breakfast was superb, choice was great, freshness and again the lady was so helpful

we requested an early check in and we were sent our room code soon after, that was really appreciated

has been converted into a cozy comfortable self contained flat with modern conveniences including wifi & a lovely log burner

inside had everything you could need from a fully stocked kitchen, log burner, tv, washing machine etc we arrived to find a lovely welcome basket with wine,

breakfast was lovely nice choice you don’t always want cooked breakfast

the restaurant and bar are decorated nicely, are very welcoming and the attention to detail is fabulous

advice i'd give is we were initially going to have the bar menu rather than al carte, however we only got the set menu and al carte menu

nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful that they accommodated our early breakfast before we went out for the day to oldfield forge

tiny issue was parking and mainly lack of enough space to get parked and feelyou can manoeuvre abs get out

food, room, lounge area all excellent. no service at upstairs bar at key time, however.

we would have liked a bit of info in the room

to top it off the food is exceptional, i highly recommend the homemade crumpets at breakfast

didn t use wifi as had excellent 4g despite being in a valley in the cotswolds
