bar staff at the hotel's associated gastro-pub (the florence) need to be more welcoming and to

breakfast bar was on the small side

we could have used a drink and snack and there was nothing available due to the 10pm closure of bar and room service

there's a pier and museums, kids and adults alike are catered for in the area

niceblocation close to the pier and the nearby park and boating lake, very easy to drive to despite being on the south

staff were nice and helpful also the bar was good with really cheap prices

housekeeping manager was so helpful and polite, allowed us a late check out as well

the bar and restaurant downstairs meant that we didn’t need to go anywhere else and why would we when

pre-dinner drinks in the bar were lovely, and our dinner on both the friday and saturday nights was excellent

the mini bar was tempting, and i was tempted, so it got a bit expensive!
