thing is the pool was good our first time but the 2nd time we went in, it looked like it hadn’t been clean

were friendly and accommodating, quiet room, very little traffic noise, relatively well-stocked kitchen with appliances that worked well, balcony overlooking pretty

gym was too small, swimming pool too

staff lying to my face saying their laundry facilities broke the day before

room was dirty the halls were a mess and the laundry facilities was in the dark basement very

the laundry facilities for guests, the furniture and the dark entry way.

staff were very kind, and allowed me to stay for a very late check out with an extra charge

outlets, ice machine, laundry, and some lights in the room were not working

gym studio 4 which the use of is included in the price - highly reccomend this hotel if you are fitness minded

with have kids and would not stay there again and would not recommend it

the cocktail bar bartenders were a joy to watch

if your kids are older and able walk the stairs then you are fine

breakfast was nice but only offered as room service or pickup

the gym on the premises is vestigial and poorly maintained

the gym was up to date and finishing our workout with the pool and hot tub was a nice way to start the

very distressing when you pay high $$ and have to listen to kids and other conversations

good little pool and hottub just off reception which was well looked after

we were able to check in 3 hours early and have a late check out, which made our travel plans move with ease

the pool was closed...but most hotel pools were still closed due to covid

recently updated rooms and hotel, a restaurant with good food downstairs, and a large outdoor pool, plus a great location for accessing victoria make this a great choice for families

kitchen could be better stocked as they have the full kitchen but nothing to cook with, no wine

we drove an ev and there were 3 tesla chargers and one standard ev charger in their gated parking garage, which was most excellent

they gave me a late check out that made my life exponentially easier

the breakfast was generous with a good selection of hot and cold options

bed, linens, pillows comfy and an old metal tub that kept my bath water hot :) the breakfast room attendant was wonderful: friendly and attentive

fact the kids cant go in the pub and the room where they are isnt as nice as the rest of the pub

the bar and grill was great we especially enjoyed being able to get a meal at 9

of the pool s rules is guests have to take a shower before use it

we were somewhat near the laundry area & we surmised that staff pulled an all nighter washing bedding between guest stays

people with mobility issues we liked the picture of the walk in shower however we expected a grab bar in the shower and comfort height toilets

on checking in the staff member offered us snacks and water as the cafè and bar were closed

gym is nice, large and quiet. a couple of the machines need maintenance.

an extra safety bar in the front of the shower would have been more reassuring.

suite has a wonderfully equipped kitchen with a comfortable sitting area and separate bedroom

did not like that the front desk could not make change via credit/debit card for laundry coins so i had to use their atm which cost $4

there was a guest laundry too which was a bonus

staff accommodated our needs (early check in, late check out, cleanliness).

gym was well equipped too

did not feel welcomed when we sat at the bar for dinner & drinks

restaurant and bar was closed mid-week.
