the hotel bar is cosy but lacked atmosphere as, sadly, we were the only two who used it for pre-dinner drinks

when we arrived there was one person doing reception and bar so there was a lot of waiting

the bar was a total disaster, hardly any stock, the staff didn't know what a french coffee was, and she

weak wifi signal, which was quite an issue - though i appreciated the commercial gesture when it was

room was not ready when we arrived so told to have drink at bar which we then had to pay for

there was live music in the bar on a couple of nights (breton folk)

we needed a good stretch in a cool pool but of course it is a marine spa with warm salt

loved this hotel from top to bottom: the beautifully-styled and comfortable room, the spacious and elegant bar, the light and attractive restaurant (we ate twice in la brasserie), the (-)spa too small and without outside access, gym not even worth being mentioned (-) aldo the spa area was much too busy for its size
