wifi didnt work in room

the location is very good indeed short walk to the town and beach, free parking added bonus

bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb and the parking at the front of the hotel was very convenient

perfect location for getting around and bonus that there is car parking available

also, the parking at the location was plentiful

the road access is very steep. not much parking

the spa area was also fantastic with an amazing view of the sea from the swimming pool

no secure parking

room was bright with a beautiful view over the bay. spa and treatments were fantastic.

and parking is tricky the fist time, but not a problem once you know what is what

loved the location, lots of parking

great breakfast and bar menu which was also very reasonably priced

despite the covid-19 we enjoyed the gym, pool and the spa

as the price was so good but what i found was a lovely, cozy little hotel with parking, great wifi, a supremely comfortable bed and a large bathroom

didn t like the cigarette smoke smell of our room and the kids window had cobb webs around it

room was sublime perfect for a young family the kids had their own room and we were able to relax after a busy day having family fun

pool areas and garden kept nicely

there s a lovely small lounge with a bar and tv which is very comfortable and well appointed

when my kids were a bit hungry at the end of the day, the innkeeper helped us find a place that delivered

wifi dipped in and out a bit but nothing major. wouldn't stop me from visiting again.

staff at check in as the same staff were doing the bar so 20/30 minute wait for drinks while busy at check

was alot of noise, that didn't stop well in to the night every night ans with young kids verry heard to get them to settle

friendly rooms are very tiered , you can t get food or room service after 9pm , however the receptionist was excellent and made us some sandwiches

have never had a problem we settle in instantly it s a lovely hotel i normally use the indoor pool but that was closed due to the virus the outside pool was great we had a great five night

i even offered to bring empty glasses and afternoon tea pots and cups in from around the pool as every table was full and this was at 10

convenience to exeter and that it has ev chargers staff were excellent and very knowledgeable

the late check out time of 11am is brilliant as you don't feel rushed

we had a nice big bedroom an ensuite and an adjacent room with a small kitchen (sink, fridge, cabinet with glasses and cups), tea, coffee, kettle milk

a well equipped kitchen and loved the molten brown soaps and shower gels

the accommodation is very well thought out with a kitchen area that gives you the flexibility to cook your own meals if you wish

the property there are lots of lovely places to hang out including the lake, heater outdoor pool, lama’s, apple orchard, piggery - finally the breakfast was excellent - real farmhouse

spotless & the bed was very comfortable, no issues with parking, we enjoyed a few evenings at the bar chatting to the other guests & having a game of bingo

there is a small bar and lounge in which you can mingle with other guests and get to know them

of lounge, reasonable car parking space junior suite was really good as it had separate space for kids

to stay, clean room, comfortable beds, fab breakfast , ideal location , cannot fault anything and kids were well catered for

there was also a family so kids running and jumping from 6 in the morning so maybe put families on lower ground floor as not

the coffee for breakfast was not as good as we would have liked.

invigorating swimming pool again with amazing seascape views

was lovely and great views to the estuary & we especially enjoyed eating in the pool bar/restaurant

the dinner was outstanding bar not enough grouse in the a la carte menu!!

everyone from the receptionist to the waiting staff in both the restaurant and the pool house were very friendly

gym does not open until 0630 hrs but not a dislike, i would just prefer it open earlier.

i like the fact there is a gym guest can use at no extra cost
