could do with separate parking for people staying or designated spaces

parking, comfortable bed and good internet speeds, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the

historic building, bar on site, excellent breakfast, elevator

stay staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, made very welcome in bar for a nightcap unlike some hotels who make you feel a nuisance

we had a nightcap in the bar and chose irish/liqueur coffees

the downstairs public rooms are beautifully preserved and the bar is really well stocked with local ales & spirits

bar area was small and cosy with a log fire

travelling with a teenager to find no wifi in the rooms!!

breakfast was great with choice of cereals, yoghurts and juices along with the option of a cooked

we didn t like but be aware it has a lot of steps from the carpark to the main bar / restaurant if your using a walking stick or walking

wifi wasnt working.... but they did admit it was new the signal may have been playing up

welcome and very informative we received excellent service at reception and in the restaurant and bar we could not fault the hotel the food in the restaurant was excellent and are planning our next

no safety mechanism so ended up getting burnt light fittings were dusty room windows not clean wifi was poor all these points were raised at checkout and was told they would be followed up,
