wifi didnt work in room

the location is very good indeed short walk to the town and beach, free parking added bonus

bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was superb and the parking at the front of the hotel was very convenient

perfect location for getting around and bonus that there is car parking available

also, the parking at the location was plentiful

nothing really, clean, situated right next to the coast, free wifi and room was fine.

added bonus was the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi

spa facilities were basic. breakfast was very tasty but again basic. good value all round

really nice bar and dining area (although we didn't eat there) (+) pleasant dining room and bar / lounge (+) even when the bar wasn t open, they were willing to pop up and open it so we could sit in the sun with some (-)of the drinks at the bar and breakfast was a bit hit and miss (-)wait at the hotel bar, it was very busy and although they had staff the bar is not equipped to be (+) staff extremely welcoming, explaining all arrangements with room, bar and breakfast (-)but the bar had ran out of ice when we ordered drinks which meant no cocktails for us (+) for example, the bar staff took the time and trouble to mix an authentic margarita even though they were quite busy

staff were brilliant and we were given a room upgrade on arrival and our parking space reserved already waiting

a few buckets with pool water would do it but the floor is green and needs a scrub

used the hydra pool

beautiful location - lovely staff - fantastic spa / treatments.

our room was also directly off the resident lounge where there was a pool table in a small room situated immediately outside our door

everthing you could want for a short break , spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and on site parking

facilities, staff were eager to help, changed room straight away when tv broke good choice of breakfast and a waffle making machine, how often do you find that

was not able to use gym as wasn t in use

they also had a well appointed gym which felt very new with towels, water etc

so many lovely little extras- lovely good quality bathroom products, little treats for the kids, fabulous breakfast, super comfy super clean

were most helpful when i needed to park a trailer ahead of my visit

gym equipment for weight trainibg is a little old - it didn't detract from our holiday at all but i

a well equipped kitchen and loved the molten brown soaps and shower gels

the accommodation is very well thought out with a kitchen area that gives you the flexibility to cook your own meals if you wish

the property there are lots of lovely places to hang out including the lake, heater outdoor pool, lama’s, apple orchard, piggery - finally the breakfast was excellent - real farmhouse

we got separated as our room was 2 levels below reception and kids on 1st floor

spacious, pool, spa although the sauna was not working

staff shortage due to covid and breakfast was just too expensive event for kids its 15

with a king size bed ( a first for us ) , a living room area with it’s own settee and tv , a kitchen containing a microwave, fridge, and toaster plus cutlery and plates, and a sink with hot

the room was clean and dust free we had 2 rooms both had tvs and both had separate toilets kitchen had everything we needed wifi worked brilliant and that breakfast wow the choices we had

the kitchen has a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and sink which would be handy for a few days stay

spotless & the bed was very comfortable, no issues with parking, we enjoyed a few evenings at the bar chatting to the other guests & having a game of bingo

he even squeezed our campervan into the car park

it was nice to have the bar on the premises and be able to sit outside with a drink

was brilliant for 1 adult and 2 kids with the bunk beds

to stay, clean room, comfortable beds, fab breakfast , ideal location , cannot fault anything and kids were well catered for

option of family rooms with a separate room for kids but within your own space

i think they should be glasses for kids not for adults

convenience to exeter and that it has ev chargers staff were excellent and very knowledgeable

breakfast was lovely and great views to the estuary & we especially enjoyed eating in the pool

breakfast was to a very high standard in beautiful surroundings

everyone from the receptionist to the waiting staff in both the restaurant and the pool house were very friendly

invigorating swimming pool again with amazing seascape views

the dinner was outstanding bar not enough grouse in the a la carte menu!!
