location is second-none in the lakes, the weather was unprecedentedly brilliant and having a bar with meals a short walk away made it even

back late from our hike, we thought dinner finished at 9pm as per the website only to find the kitchen had closed at 8:30pm on a bank holiday weekend

it s so peaceful and the spa and restaurant are both excellent

and in particular rob the manager, joanna on reception and hayden who looked after us in the bar and around the hotel, it was all exceptional

it was dissapointing not to be informed there was no room service until we had asked on our second day

if anything maybe the lack of choice of seating in the bar area
