historic hotel. food good. bar good. rooms were exceptionally clean.

the restaurant and bar were accommodating and the food was good and the homemade pie was delicious

great bar and general atmosphere as a travellers' rest

i had a spot to park my boat when needed and very importantly the lodge is dog friendly

they let us get a late check out which helped with our travel plans

cozier and with better equipped kitchen than any comparable place on our trip
