the location was perfect, overlooking the river (and car park) and backing onto grosvenor park

hotel on the riverside with plenty of room to park, which was a bonus

and friendly welcome easy to find, easy to park (out of season admittedly) really lovely room, clean, modern but with

great for city walls, grovesnor park and boat trips on the dee

parking is not private

we were able to park our car right beside our room

honestly surprised by the value for money 35 a night wow nice little bar too and carvery

used common sense in order to assist with early check in

the night before we stayed and we arrived early due to poor weather and was going to stay in the bar area until check in time however our rooms were ready and we was given an early check in

friendly staff, arranged early check in for us and didn’t grumble when we were a bit late for breakfast

we decided to eat at the bar attached and the quality and price were brilliant, the staff working in the bar were so kind
