a relaxing place to stay, very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms

great for family with kids with such good swimming and spa facilities

also staff was very polite and professional, it is possible to spend whole day on spa and pool, has a cafetaria

unfortunately spa was closed due to covid restrictions so had no chance to experience it

staff was very friendly, very clean facilities and access to spa was amazing after a whole day

this last point, because we never felt cold during our stay, neither in our room nor the common spaces

the pool and paddle ball court wee both fantastic

our stay here was amazing: the facilities include an outdoor and indoor pool, sauna, billiards and football

all started with the outstanding location of the douro palace hotel & spa, it's a 10 min (if that much) taxi

the hotel is small and has a quite big spa area for that size (steam bath and sauna)

everything was nice, the staff, the spa facilities, the rooms, the restaurant, drinks, food , not to mention

finally, the spa is beautiful and super relaxing

they even let us shower and use the spa way passed our check out time which facilitated things for travelling

price/quality ratio of the food/wines/spa is also very good

having more sunbeds by the pool - was pretty busy we presumed from non hotel guests booking a day spa pass

spa staff were exceptional and provided a quality neck massage

location scenic and close to porto outdoor swimming os ace indoor spa and swimming v good

pool / spa closed for refurbishment but not a major problem since outside temperature was 25-28 degrees

nothing. perfect stay. if i had to nit pick, it would be the spa costs are overpriced.
