it had a gorgeous fireplace

i wanted a pet friendly place for an overnight, and it was graced with forested walks with your pet

the location was close to everything & value & pool were great

parking charge of $25 was steep. i could have just parked in the street for free.

great bar on site with wonderful staff. cozy rooms and lots of local flair.

our room came with a spa tub and was so relaxing

i enjoyed the spa tub and the view

waffles are an easy choice for the kids, and there was a wait for the waffle machine each morning

great buffet breakfast and free parking close to our room

also, the door to the laundry room at hotel was constantly left open to see as i walked by

wifi was spotty in our room but if i remember correctly it just says wifi is available in public

huge space, well-equipped kitchen

parking was an issue. couldn't park in front of our room in the evening

they should be on top of their parking lot during storms as well, have a small plow truck ready so that guests

sure why in the property description it says something about needing a reservation for private parking

bathroom had heater for colder temps and fireplace was a bonus

was expecting a king room with spa bath and got the king bed but regular tub with one jet

family and i stayed in the king room with the spa bath

room we got was overlooking the parking lot eventhough at the desk they said you would have a nice view with

the cozy ambiance you would expect, no noise insulation, lake view i paid for is ruined by the parking lot

many times front desk and bar were left unattended

the pool was cloudy

we did see deer in the property and the kids really enjoyed that, but that's not exclusive to the resort

and we had the chance to enjoy the spa and restaurant, too

was difficult to get reservations for the sporting reserve and spa

the spa was perfect

dodgers or better weather stripping on doors on first floor to keep out hallway noise- sa them on spa

carpet stains, no ottoman, cheap tp, spa tub jets were weak.

my room was actually a small apartment, full living room with gas fireplace, dining area and a kitchen that

views. size of the apartment. fireplace. jacuzzi the lady at the front desk was great

my confirmation said our room had a spa tub but we did not get a room with s spa tub

very nice kitchen area in this suite as well

it was very disconcerting upon arrival to find that we might possibly not be able to get into the parking area

took forever to warm up room wifi did not work coffee maker in room put out filthy water when used for water

we decided on a whim to go visit blowing rock and needed a pet friendly place for our german shepherd

we were told it s a wood fireplace vs gas

everythin excepting wifi internet !
