i tried the cafe de la paix as suggested by the owner and it was great, it is a pmu bar but it had quite a few diners

the hotel were very kind enough to organise an early check in for us as we were travelling by motorbike in a heatwave which was much appreciated

is the most attentive, lovely lady ever and made us feel truly welcome, even with our language barriers

after a late and thirsty arrival, and the bar already closed, the guy showed up at my room with a cold beer from the tap

a large swimming pool

breakfast was nice, but not to our uncultured uk tastes

also the swimming pool was not still up and running at the time of our visit

all of it. really idyllic. also the lemon cake at breakfast was exceptional.

our children loved the pool and the animals - there were birds, hens & chicks, rabbits and baby rabbits
