room was wonderful, we didn t get to use the pool

we enjoyed our stay here so much, although didn t get a chance to use the pool due to the weather

was too cold to use the pool but benefited from the hot tub

you also choose the time and the place: in your room, beside the pool

the outdoor pool is beautiful but super cold in april but no worries as the indoor pool is just a short walk

the pool area overlooking the douro river was breathtaking

staff were very attentive and the room was a delight, as was the sauna, turkish bath and indoor pool

indoor pool was supposed to be heated, but it was cold.

hotel is very well located next to river douro, very nice to spent some time in the pool; good breakfast, nice room and bathrom with the view of the river

kids loved the pool, since they did not expect the pool in the city hotel

very minor comment but having to pay for extra small things, like a swimming hat for the pool or being asked to pay for a bucket of ice to go to the room, didn’t feel like 5 star

the entire place is beautiful- the menu, the decor, tje pool, the gardens, the service, and the location are all perfect

we loved our room, the restaurants, the spa, the pool…and the staff are so helpful and kind

compared to the staff in the restaurants and by the pool, the staff on the reception are a little cold

outstanding service at every stage, foh, bar, pool area, restaurant

linen changed every day, lovely fluffy towels, beautiful roof top restaurant, terrace and plunge pool

the pool bar/lounge area as great and the swimming pool was a treat to have after walking around in a

pool is small and only 6 sunloungers - maybe adding more easy chairs in the garden would enable

a dip in the pool after a day exploring was also most welcome

very central and we felt lucky to have a garden room which made it very easy for us to go to the pool and jacuzzi with our little girl
