the pool was wonderful and a short walk to restaurants and shops

there was a small pool but chairs and tables pretty tacky and the views over the river obscured

our whole experience was most enjoyable, from a quick dip in the pool to our evening meal (delicious (+) the pool was a welcomed addition on a hot day (+)the staff are so friendly and helpful. lovely quiet pool area (+)hotel is in a lovely setting with a lake in the grounds and an outside pool we booked last minute and we booked 2 separate rooms (+) a big bonus was the pool which was large and well maintained (+)setting very close to town centre attractive gardens and pool - view of duck filled lake beautiful terrace settnig for (-)nothing just wish we had more time for pool (+)hotel was lovely, very relaxing, very clean, good pool, lake and garden (+) could not try the swimming pool (too cold) but it looks good (+) pool nice on a hot day (+)outlook (garden and pool view), excellent meal in the restaurant, very efficient and friendly staff

we wanted car parking so accepted the walk in to town

the surrounds very pleasant with a big lake and easy parking
