swimming pool quirky decor v pleasant staff

public areas were attractive and the pool area and gardens were lovely

swimming pool was dirty but we did swim end of the day

amazingly large en-suite room on the first floor with a balcony which looked out over a swimming pool and a wooded landscape to a river - la mayenne

had walk by river, but mostly spent time by the pool

location, the pool was a bonus

the pool was great to cool down in and the breakfast was plentiful

lovely veranda to sit outside and view lake with covered swimming pool to have a refreshing dip

the pool was clean but smelled very musty

i had originally booked it with the intent to use the pool, which looked lovely, but after 8 hours+ walking i couldn't bring myself to go to the pool

there was a indoor pool and breakfast/lunch/dinner was available on the terrace overlooking the lake
