great pool and outside bar area

only slight negative was lack of shade around the pool.

the pool area was lovely with comfy area for dining outdoors

the swimming pool was in big demand as the temperature was in the 30's

the pool was very relaxing, pool bar food was very good, and the staff was very warm and on top of

hotel, very grand yet modern, huge room, comfortable bed, nice view over bay from terrace and pool area, easy walk to old harbour for pintxos or to metro in to bilbao, staff hugely professional

the views from the terrace and pool are what make the hotel exceptional

much - the pool was not open, but that was a date issue, as it only opened the weekend after we arrived, so

very friendly staff, beautiful location and atmosphere. nice swimming pool.
