the room was spacious with lovely interesting view all topped off by a wonderful jacuzzi spa bath

we ended up taking the suite (at special price too) with a huge bath/spa in the middle of the room

we upgraded to the junior suite which gave us plenty of room and a spa bath that looked out to the view

the bed was very comfortable, and the spa tub was great

a bar cafe next door with tables on the pavement

breakfast could have had more selection and the bar could have been open in the evening

breakfast was in a bar next door with bad service and a minimal breakfast

it wasn't summer and the pool wasn't open.

it is a classic hotel with good size rooms and a beautiful pool

hotel was advertised with a pool, but the pool wasn't open yet, which was a shame

the pool was closed - but then we were so happy to see the monastery

the overall experience (i was traveling with 3 kids) was great

second time i have stayed here both times mini bar not working

during the big san lorenzo festival), and the restaurant ticked all the boxes for adults and kids alike

the morning shift we shouldn't be charged for that evening, to the older gentleman working in the bar that made sure our coffees were not charged as we had already paid the parking we did not used

coffee from the bar was delicious

the breakfast is tasty and varied, and there's a nice bar and a cozy pool area

the pool looked great but unfortunately we were a bit poorly so didn't use it

were impressed by the luxury of this resort, quiet location, swimming pool, ease to drive into Ávila

nothing, we did note that the swimming pool was not in use except by the local ducks.

you also have free use of the spa (no indoor pool) but hydro water wellbeing, with sauna and steam room, i would highly recommend this hotel

there was no food ordering at the pool as the kitchen didn't offer anything.

the pool was still closed from winter, but the weather wasn’t warm enough to use it anyways.

the gardens are delightful and the pool area is a hidden treasure edged by the wall of the city

location, environment, history, the girls at reception were super welcoming and helpful, the pool area was stunning and well kept, rooms were so beautiful, spacious, fully equipped and with

there is also a traditional spanish coffee place / bar with small meals with good prices apart just near

wifi was very poor and intermittent

i didn't eat dinner at the hotel so cant comment, but there is a small attached cafe bar - beer was the most expensive there during my whole trip in spain and portugal and there is

wifi in the room must go down to the lobby for wifi
