in hotter weather there was a swimming pool outside our door

the pool is lovely and a real bonus

the wifi worked well and the shower and (smallish) pool were a great way to cool off after a long, hot drive

there is a lovely, airy bar in the hotel, as well as a fine restaurant

nice staff, nice place, but expensive and spa is not included in the price.

the kitchenette had a breakfast bar with stools, and this was the only thing we would have changed - an ordinary table with dining

needed to prebook the spa and space is limited and was not available during our stay.
