so i got the wifi code hand written on my room key card

thought it was unusual that i couldn't order room service and pay at the end of stay

friendly and polite staff across the board food for breakfast and in the restaurant was very nice a good real ale on tap

we had dinner and breakfast, both very good, quality ingredients , freshly cooked and tasty

grateful to staff that when we arrived late, a pint of beer from the closed bar was offered

breakfast was really good. evening meal was fine.

breakfast was exceptional and it is a beautiful hotel, not too far from the motorway.

if you're a golfer, the carlisle golf club is minutes away

we stay in the river suite which has its own kitchen , which means we can prepare our own food and drink, however breakfast is included with the

hot water, a comfortable walk to town, was able to do laundry there, the housekeeper was very sweet

t my room was absolutely fine with good bed, shower, tv, kitchen area

wifi code didnt work

the kitchen area needed updated but that was discussed with the very helpful staff

room was comfortable and clean breakfast was excellent

very laid back, safe and with decent parking

wifi did not work with password on notice.i would like to be able to check in earlier

private entrance and even a little courtyard area for the kids to play

space we had as a family and the bath was a hit with the kids

no internet on tv and wifi didn't work on our laptop.

building, friendly staff, very comfortable beds, spacious room, ample parking, very good

the down side of the location is the awful wifi connection

from the well equipped room, the incredibly comfortable four poster bed and the spa bath, it was one of the best we've stayed in

so peaceful and plenty of lovely walks and adventures exploring for the kids
