in the heart of la jolla hotel sits above the ocean on a cliff and our room had ocean and pool

the room service food was poor

the parking in that area of la jolla is a pain and the valet is $30 a night.

if you don't pay for valet, parking can be difficult

up early friday, 10am, and had to take meetings in the lobby while the family went to the zoo

perfect location, excellent bar and restaurant. extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

the gentleman at the pool that runs the show does an excellent job all around

over the pool and ocean, remarkably we got rooms with no views, above and below and next to the gym, also noisy because of scraping chairs on the terraced restaurant on the 7th floor

the pool area and rooms were big

the sauna and the pool are clean and there’s a grill for guests to use

there pretty much get a balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean, you get so much space, a great pool, and access to pacific beach, plenty of food spots, and shopping areas

kids toys for the beach were great

family vacation with two kids under five was great otherwise

first full night we stayed, the pool area was quite dirty

like the privcy of the rooms, the full kitchen was amazing specialty because i have a big family, i love to have 2 bathroom and the 3 tvs

the pool is very small, no shower next to the pool the furniture in the room is okay, but old, many of

big suite with 2 rooms and quiet as it was facing the pool at the interior area of the hotel.

but the kitchen staff (chef and woman cleaning and replenishing food) were exceptional

wish there was a fitness facility on site and maybe change up the sausage to bacon or ham, only thing that changed

it would have been nice if the bar would have been open for happy hour during the week.

i will definitely be back- and look forward to visiting when the hotel and bar are reopened as well
