had to go to the restaurant in the bar across from the hotel

christmas decorations made it like a winter wonderland, i was upgraded to a 2 bed lodge for free room service available etc

lack of parking at door

unhelpful man with tattoos on his arms, who worked at the bar and reception at the same time, didn't want to extend my stay for one additional night

it was a complete shambles and if we hadn't driven so far with 3 kids we certainly wouldn't have stayed

the breakfast is really good

good buffet breakfast

bath had no plug so could not relax in the bath tub, the spa was closed for refurbishment

and comfortable interior design with the benefit of a lovely restaurant and bar downstairs

nice bar and restaurant underneath rooms where had glass of wine and able to buy bottle for later from

it was quiet and warm and lovely bar downstairs

right above a really great wine bar and restaurant

even had an intimate personal breakfast for 2

the bar is pleasant and serves excellent food at good prices

the main room and adjoining room for the kids were both of a good size

the bar staff were really chatty too

the sleeping arrangement for kids was very uncomfortable.
