view out of our room the inverary looked into the boilers, bins and dirty laundry trolleys

drinks were a little slow in the bar area, but i think the member of staff was new and training up

nice country location, very castle like with grand interior, nice bar and restraunt and grounds

only negative was wifi was extremely weak to non existent in our room, with poor movile reception

was in a quiet setting, surrounded by lawns and gardens, with excellent parking and level access from the side

breakfast was delicious as we're all meals taken at this hotel the hosts were friendly and helpful

wifi was not strong enough for it to be fit for purpose due to the thickness of the walls

last stayed here in 2019, lovely staff, amazing breakfast

location perfect, new and clean very peaceful great breakfast very pleasant service

ideally placed for dumfries golf club - just 200-300 yards away

especially when we left the kids with grandparents to make it easier to get around and quicker in our 2 days

room was really warm, as we were next to laundry room. a fan would be a welcome addition.

the 25th january robert burns birthday and we had a swim in the afternoon in the leisure centre pool it was

were woken at 9:15 on the saturday morning despite it being a 2 night stay for room service and then again early

gym facility was good

breakfast delivery was poor long questions to serve youtself

there is an onsite bar and restaurant which shows the football games

the only thing that was good very disappointing unclean rooms that require updating the bar was a laundry keep

also - lots of laundry bags in the area on the approach to the bar- the area looked messy

was a bar area which was lovely but it closed on last check in which was 9pm it would have been better if

friendly staff tidy clean room breakfast was perfect great location and great value for money

they mentioned when checking in that breakfast wasnt their usual buffet spread (for obvious global pandemic

hot water, a comfortable walk to town, was able to do laundry there, the housekeeper was very sweet

there was on-site parking, and the place was situated in a very good area (aldi straight across the road,

wouldn't book that room again as the daily laundry delivery was so noisy outside window it woke us

no guest laundry facilities, a takeaway service was available, but not on weekends.

hotel is set in gorgeous grounds for burning some energy off the kids and dog

3.50 tray charge for in room service. energy saving light bulbs - a torch would be stronger.

was beautiful, from the real fires when you go in to the decor of the bar dining room and most importantly the

well placed next a75, ample parking, good is good

there was limited choice on the menu, the food was excellent and the choice and food quality at breakfast was

good parking facilities available
