in the heart of la jolla hotel sits above the ocean on a cliff and our room had ocean and pool

the room service food was poor

the parking in that area of la jolla is a pain and the valet is $30 a night.

if you don't pay for valet, parking can be difficult

up early friday, 10am, and had to take meetings in the lobby while the family went to the zoo

was included and that was a plus, especially when traveling with kids

free tea, fizzy drinks, water and laundry

was a very cosy apartment, well equipped, good breakfast, laundry free of charge and water&soft drinks at your disposal

great location and good breakfast bar that was included.

kids had their own bedrooms

price , condition of hotel , service s gym is not even on location you have to drive to a gym never heard of that

the gym was closed, the pool was closed, due to covid 19, not at fault of the hotel, but feel we should

no gym due to covid

no option to turn on the heat and the side i stayed on had the feel of a motel 6 and there was no gym area

gate that provides access to the gym from the stairway to the pool area was rope locked to prevent access

good location. quiet. comfy beds. good wifi.

the wifi worked well

stuck without wifi for a day so if you are planning to get some work done or browse, it is not the best choice

a tad overpriced for what it is. no coffee machine in the room or room service.

the kitchen was

kitchen, dining area with table and 4 chairs, 5 minute walk to restaurants and beach, quiet,

the fixtures in the kitchen were a bit tired and could do with a remodel

a family of 4 we loved the size of the apartment and the kitchen and the pool and we loved walking to the beach and restaurants

property also had daily activities like making bracelets, sno-cones, s’mores, kids trivia, and ping pong tournaments

location on beach easy access walk into town for restaurants and hotel has shuttle to go into la jolla village less than 5-8 minutes away beautiful

the shuttle service was incredibly convenient

enjoyed our stay here, ocean views from most rooms, small but uncrowded pool and spa, pricey but nice and convenient restaurant

how easily accessible it was to the beach, pool and local shops/restaurants

right at the room, hearing the ocean at night, the room we had this time was bigger with a kitchen area

and nice to me during my stay i had an issue that was resolved within minutes with my room, kitchenette and separate doggy bath outside were also a big plus

it was great space and the kitchen area was better than expected

perfect with two kids - great views from the big balcony - directly next to the beach - kitchen corner with microwave, cupboard, very big fridge, sink and coffee maker

the inside kitchen table is a little small but the balcony has a large table when it warms up

the only down side is they don’t have a kitchen but have a fridge and microwave (keep in mind)

the rooms are comfortable and homey -- the one we stayed in even had a kitchenette if we'd had the forethought to bring pans

got a room with a kitchen, but there was no silverware or anything, which is no big deal but not what i expected

the place reminded me of apartments and i like that they have a small kitchen area with microwave and mini fridge very nice and convenient

like this hotel because it has a kitchen were i can just cook my own meal instead of getting take outs

during the time i was there the pool was open which was a plus since my family loves to swim

gym was a perfect clean area to get a workout in and the pool was not crowded and heated
