meanwhile the humans had a wonderful dinner and a great breakfast

the staff were very friendly, the hotel was ideal for us as an older couple (kids now old enough to leave)

they have a great bar and the food was delicious

our room was perfect for us, breakfast excellent and service with a smile, a chat, and however much time you want to spend there

be looked as as we were woken quite early by the people above us getting out early for their golf

tidy hotel with nice staff. heavily used by golf groups and walkers etc but works well

nice to have good hot water but drawback was it's scalding hot - bit unsafe for some people or kids

the kitchen area needed updated but that was discussed with the very helpful staff

just lacked one or two kitchen implements and shampoo.

good location and provided a good base for travel to troon to watch the golf

during busy times when the management must have known that a coach trip or a large group of golfers had booked in,but no extra staff to cope
